Swedish flat weave vintage oriental rugs are loved all around the world for their beauty and high quality. This unique piece, created by extremely talented artist Sverker Greuholm, is everything one could wish for in a Scandinavian carpet. It’s size, 5’9″ × 7’6″, makes it easy to transport which will be appreciated by those who move a lot.

For his creation Greuholm chose a rather calm color palette composed mostly of light shades of blue and gray, adorned by small elements of yellow and brown. While the pattern itself is rather conservative, designer decided to add a small twist to it, making the whole composition a lot more modern. Large geometric figures are surrounded by smaller ones which look like stars or tiny snowflakes falling from the sky. At the top and bottom the vintage area rug is decorated with a delicate fringe, an ever charming addition.
