We’re pleased to announce the release of our second edition of The Old… The New… The Future!, a beautiful hardcover compendium of the great range of styles and designs available in our antique and contemporary carpet collections.
The book is divided into three sections. The first is an overview of our antique Oriental and European carpets. Herein the book notes that a talented designer can “select a carpet that brings harmony to the overall design yet accentuates the diversity of styles within it.”
We are always huge proponents of the versatility of antique and vintage textiles to complement a wide range of interior aesthetics.
The second section lends vivid insight into some of the ways our contemporary rugs are breaking free of traditional techniques, reinterpreting designs and motifs, and pushing the bounds of artistic expression.
The final section is a collection of close-up pictures that showcase the myriad techniques and woven iterations that comprise our new rug gallery.
