Many designers recommend, when designing a room, starting from the ground up. When “the ground” is an incomparable piece from Doris Leslie Blau Rugs, we can’t think of any better advice!
Suzanne Lovell, Inc
When Doris Blau started her fabulous Manhattan rug gallery in 1965, she made a name for herself quickly for her eclectic style and utilization of avant-garde rugs that always made her store eclectically chic.
The reigns have since been handed over to Nader Bolou, who has continued the tradition of excellence.
These fabulous rugs, as you can see from the gorgeous photos in which they are featured in practically ever shelter magazine, are truly pieces worth designing an entire room–or home–around.
From new rugs with their own unique personalities to vintage and antique rugs that are truly one-of-a-kind, the beautiful Doris Leslie Blau pieces don the floors of some of the world’s finest homes.
(Like Timothy Corrigan’s Manor! We are available for dinner any old time!)
And a rental service is even available that has been utilized in shoots for Vogue, Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren Home and HBO’s Mildred Pierce series.
From the colorfully upbeat to the staunchly traditional, the custom to the outstandingly antique…

Each Doris Leslie Blau piece is perfectly pedigreed. With so many choices for every style, it isn’t a question of which showroom to visit when choosing a rug. The real challenge is choosing which incredible piece to base your new home project around!
Thanks to Doris Leslie Blau for brightening up our Monday! We hope these fine pieces did the same for you. Wishing you a wonderful week!
