This exceptional vintage Swedish rug designed by the great Marianne Richter (Josefina Gul) with woven initials (MR) at a corner dating back to circa 1950 reflects the quintessence of Scandinavian craftsmanship. The main filed is divided into nine rectangles that contain geometric patterns like a grid of diamonds, a band of triangles, irregular dots and short strips. The color pallet consists mostly of many shades of yellow with ivory, brown-gray and little purple accents. The rug is finished with long tassels at the shorter edges in natural shade. Handmade of highest quality materials this vintage carpet embodies everything that is best about Swedish weaving – beauty and durability.
