A hand-made flatweave wool rug. The design is modern, of mid-century Scandinavian inspiration, incorporating alternating geometric rows in blue, sand, ivory and brown.

This new, Swedish area rug is flat woven out of wool. The pattern itself is a playful arrangement of squares, blue and sand, with small brown squares fitted into the borders between them. The patterns formed by these brown squares can be joined with irregular sinusoids in one’s imagination, which is an intriguing diversion. Small irregularities in the white stripes running lengthwise across the rug provide a bit of lopsidedness to this otherwise regular pattern.
