The one thing I really enjoy about my job is meeting with other designers. It makes me feel apart of a community that flourishes and is unapologetic when it comes to design. Yesterday, I had the pleasure to speak in Washington, DC at the Doris Leslie Blau showroom. To my surprise, the President & Owner, Nader Bolour was in attendance and the Showroom Director, Madeleine Mitchell decorated the space with lavish rug hangings which cascaded as my backdrop during the presentation. Days like this, I feel like I’m flying high and the possibilities are endless. That feeling alone, makes me want to celebrate!
