After completing Ecole de Louvre in Paris, Alberto Pinto started as a photographer in New York (USA) specializing in interior design photography. That profession brought him to Mexico, India and Italy among many other countries, therefore his work constitutes of travels around the world. His incredible eye for design, the sense of volumes and the ability to play with colors became crucial for the rest of his career as a designer.
Alberto Pinto says of himself: “I have always been curious by nature. I was inspired; eyes wide open, and captured these images like photographs in my mind. All this, plus a bit of Art culture at the « Ecole de Louvre » mixed together with my personality and perception of things makes my signature style. My style keeps evolving because I keep up to date with the times and I always move forward with a great curiosity and an open mind.”
Now Alberto Pinto, together with his 60 employes, creates private residences, palaces, offices and hotels on all the continents. Whether it concerns modern, classical, traditional or oriental style, he always comes up with an elegant and balanced answer. Moreover, his high-end clientele all agree he has brought interior design up to the status of “Haute Interior Design.” The diversity of his projects and his aspiration for perfection enabled him to discover the best international artisans and craft makers, with whom he regularly cooperates. He particularly appreciates being given grand and magnificent spaces, in which he mixes styles and various periods in perfect harmony. Strengthened by years of experience and always looking for new challenges, Alberto Pinto specializes in creating elegant living environments, also in unusual places such as large yachts or private jets.
Alberto Pinto likes to put together different shapes and eras in an eclectic, yet balanced way. One of the characteristics of his projects is the complete refusal of monotony and boredom of rigid compositions. He uses strong hues and plays with powerful contrasts to infuse interiors with as much energy as possible. Each of Alberto Pinto’s projects has something particular about it, which makes his whole design portfolio even more interesting.
His name has become a brand. Apart from his work in interior design, he has launched lines of linens and tableware, decorative taps and furniture. He designed his own rugs in cooperation with Doris Leslie Blau.
