An hand-knotted wool antique Persian area rug originating from the Tabriz rug making center, dating back to circa 1920. It features an incredibly intricate design with stylized botanical motifs arranged in an intricate, grid-like pattern and filled in with flowering vines and other lush botanical motifs. Every fine detail is distinct. The color palette mainly consists of shades of beige, blue, charcoal and brown. The condition of the rug is very good, consistent with age and wear.
