This absolutely stunning Turkish kilim rug is bound to charm even the most demanding connoisseurs with its unique design and perfectly composed color palette. Woven by hand circa 1930, the vintage rug has some fascinating irregularities in its pattern, probably a part of its creator’s artistic vision.

On the central field, we can see a beautiful forest stretching from left to right. Some of the trees have little compositions, constructed with triangles and diamonds inside them. At the top and bottom part of the vintage rug, we can see two horizontal lines, which help to anchor the entire design. The colors picked by weaver work together perfectly – earthy shades of brown contrasted with bits of beige and black background create a beautiful mix, undoubtedly inspired by traditional Turkish craft.
