A vintage Swedish flat-weave wool rug designed by Ingegerd Silow, signed ‘IS’ at the lower corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. A traditional design of overlapping stylized floral elements reduced to geometric shapes as per mid-century Swedish style covers the major field of the rug. The color palette consists of shades of beige, gray, pink, purple and taupe. Beautiful fringe on the vintage rug’s top and bottom part is a nice finishing touch, which gives it even more rustic charm.
