Woven circa 1960, the rug was made by a talented artisan from the best quality materials available. What immediately draws the eye is its distinctive design – a very modern composition considering the time of its creation. On the central field we can see simplified depictions of snowflakes, separated by horizontal lines. The pattern is completed by three vertical lines appearing in each row. The choice of color palette was a risk that certainly paid off. Blushy pink works perfectly with smaller details in the shades of blue and green, as well as with white background.
