This beautifully performed vintage flat-woven rug is maintained in various shades of green, gray and brown colors with a pinch of black. This hand-knotted woolen Swedish rug is an example of famous Märta Måås-Fjetterström workshop products. The geometrical pattern which is a pure and classical form of Swedish kilims overwhelms the viewer with strongly systematized symmetry of squares and triangles interwined with some stripes placed near the border of the whole composition. An inspiring motif of a criss-cross bestead on the edges and in the middle of the carpet refreshes and complicates the surface.
