This vintage Indian rug displays the irregular stripes in different shades of blue and lavender enclosed with a thick, beige border ended on shorter edges with short fringes.

This vintage Dhurrie, made circa 1955, has survived until this day in excellent condition due to refined workmanship. It was carefully hand-woven out of natural materials by a skilled artisan in accordance with centuries-old techniques. Provided minimum amount of care, the flat-weave will withstand many years with no signs of wear, being the centerpiece of any décor.
