An Irish Donegal Arts & Crafts rug designed by C.F.A. Voysey named “Donnemara”. A rare and remarkable rug, handmade in the 1900s. It is in excellent condition, consistent with age and wear. Rewoven.

The rug displays stylized flowers, leaves, and palmettes with an ample palmettes border. The composition is rendered in shades of green, blue, beige, and yellow.

Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857 – 1941) was an Irish architect and furniture, rugs, and textile designer in the Arts & Crafts style.
