Contemporary Pebble Weave Classic Taupe Hand-Knotted Carpet “Arenite” N13083 12'0" × 12'2"

Arenite turns a simple taupe field into a tactile study of pebble-like weave and subtle tonal shift. Loomed in hemp, this square-format contemporary rug has an understated organic modern presence, with no border or central motif to interrupt its calm surface.

The Classic Taupe ground is lifted by light taupe variation and faint warm beige striations, creating the impression of weathered stone and softly worn textile grain. Its dense, low-profile texture reads refined from afar and richly detailed up close, ideal for interiors that favor quiet materiality over ornament.

The name Arenite refers to sandstone, a fitting reference for the rug’s fine-grained character and natural, earth-toned palette. As a minimalist natural fiber rug, it brings composure to living rooms, studies, and layered modern schemes, pairing easily with oak, plaster, linen, and metal accents.

Part of the curated collection at Doris Leslie Blau, this rug reflects the gallery’s dedication to pairing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design vision.
