This hand-made Swedish carpet is a classic example of flat-weaving technique. Soft wool dyed in color of sand is the background for the colorful geometrical scheme. Squares made with an off-white outline are divided into smaller and bigger ones. They create traditional Swedish symbols of flowers maintained in sunny shades of aquamarine and yellow. Central beige parts of each flower correspond with the color of the background. The whole looks very subtle and fairly emanates with the serene mood.
