A vintage Swedish high and low knotted rug dating back to circa 1948. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The rug displays rows of multicolored flowers and the intriguing high-low texture adds three-dimensional to the design constituting a sheer pleasure for the feet. The rug is rendered in beige, green, blue, yellow, brown, red and ivory. The long tassels are present on the shorter ends. The Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
