A Swedish hand woven wool rug in flat weave rölakan technique, designed by Rakel Carlander. Monogrammed at one corner: RC. It is a collectible piece in excellent original condition, consistent with age. Different shades of brown, yellow, taupe, beige, gray, charcoal and ivory are the dominant colors accompanied by geometric pattern. Inspired by traditional Northern European crafts, culture, and nature, vintage Scandinavian rugs enchant with their unpretentious elegance.
