This exceptional vintage Swedish “Sargasso, green” rug designed by the great Marianne Richter AB MMF with woven initials (MR) at a corner dating back to circa 1940 reflects the quintessence of Scandinavian craftsmanship. This traditional handwoven Swedish rug has an overall field of rectangles rows in saturated greens, light purple and beige covered with diagonal stripes in greens and turquoise hues. With its simplicity and geometric design, this hand-woven wool Swedish rug provides a feeling of cozy contentment without the clutter.
