This vintage mid century Marta Maas “Rostaggen” rug is a unique masterpiece with modern vibes that was created by the iconic textile designer Marianne Richter with woven initials (MR) at a lower corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The rug boasts intricate rectangular and square structures which are rendered in contrasting hues of pinks, purples, ivory and beige colors. The core of the design of this magnificent vintage Scandinavian rug is the rectangle design. This recurring theme exudes and exemplifies the true feel of the mid century modern artistic movement.
