This exceptional vintage Swedish rug designed by the great Marianne Richter AB MMF with woven initials (MR) at a corner dating back to circa 1945 reflects the quintessence of Scandinavian craftsmanship. The main filed carries blocks of rectangles in diversified blue, purple, green and beige shades creating an allover contrasting geometric pattern. The rug is finished with short strips pattern at the shorter edges. Handmade of highest quality materials this vintage carpet embodies everything that is best about Swedish weaving – beauty and durability.
