Vintage Swedish flat-weave double sided rug by Carl Malmsten dating back circa 1950. The Swedish carpet’s main field is covered with an allover pattern of serrated rectangles in two sizes with gently outlined horizontal stripes and a trimming lace at the shorter opposite sides. The design is maintained in a blue and grey palette with variations in saturation.
