A circle deco rug designed by Paul Follot for the “Salon de Musique” of an interior in Paris also of his design. The rug originally sat under the piano as documented in photographs. The central area represents the night sky and the outer portion has all of the zodiac signs.

Art Deco owes its name to the first major exhibition of decorative arts to be held after the First World War: L’Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925.
