This classical flat weave by Marta Mass-Fjetterström is the essence of Swedish craftsmanship. Its balanced composition is based on numerous intermingling hues of autumn colors – from mocha to deep chocolate brown. The pattern is spare and geometric, and is in fact just an addition to the mesmerizing game of colors. Three rows of tiny diamonds go from the bottom to the top of the field, whereas the borders are encircled by a repetitive motif of bold, brown triple stripes. This Swedish rug gives a feel of tranquility and coziness and makes one want to place this rug in a living space to imbue it with warmth.
