This vintage Swedish rug is an authentic creation of a doyenne of Scandinavian craft, Marta-Maas Fjetterstrom. It is a rya which means that, contrary to perhaps the most famous flat-woven rollakans, it has a shaggy pile. As such, it will be perfect to complement any bedroom or living room, bringing in comfort and joy.

Its playful design features simplified floral motifs that reflect the beauty of northern nature and bucolic Scandinavian countryside. The main field carries motifs of sunflowers, rendered in vivid yellow and brown. Such a composition will be ideal to make a statement in any kind of modern décor.
