Vintage Moroccan Rug, Origin: Morocco, Circa: 1940, an early 20th century vintage Moroccan Berber hand – made rug, made with hand – woven wool died with natural biological pigments, rich and deep in color and naturally simple in its pattern. The delicate checker arrangement in the shade of honey transforms into zig-zag lines to form more dense checker pattern on the opposite end of the rug. The pattern is combined with horizontal layers of different shades of clay and sand-like colors, which give the impression of soil layering. It looks like Nature has made it itself.
