This stunning Indian Agra rug was woven in the late 19th century, circa 1880. Its complex patters is composed of a field with a dynamic allover trellis, palmettes and delicate flowering vines within a border full of cloudbands and whimsical cartouches. However, what makes this antique rug truly special is certainly its color palette. Shades of blushy pink, deep burgundy and fresh green are completed by tiny bits of lovely pastel pink, coffee brown and delicate blue.
