This antique Persian runner is a paragon of the northwestern Malayer craft. Its main field carries an allover pattern of six-pointed stars generally known as the Solomon’s Seal. It is believed that this classic motif brings happiness and auspiciousness to a household. The main field is embraced by a triple decorative border. Everything is rendered in a color palette of blue and beige with touches of coral and green which will easily match and invigorate a wide variety of contemporary interior arrangements.

The antique Persian Malayer rug was made by hand of high-quality wool in accordance with traditional techniques which ensured its durability and uniqueness. Due to careful execution, the piece was able to survive until this day in perfect condition. If properly maintained, it will serve its owners for generations without the slightest signs of wear.
