A mid-century Swedish flat-weave wool rug by Sveker Greuholm with woven initials (SG) at a corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age.It displays three rows of stepped medallions with crosses, linked with each other on a striped and rectangle background. The rug is rendered in yellow, blue, brown, beige, gray and ivory accents. The Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
