A mid-century, hand-made Swedish flatweave wool rug made by Gitt Grannsjo-Carlsson with woven initials (GG) at a corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The design is traditional Scandinavian with stylized floral elements and geometric shapes. The color palette is fresh and delightful, in shades of green, with beige and ivory accents. The mid-century Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
