Her wonderful works immediately charm the viewers with their effortless elegance and attention Carlsson always paid to details. This particular piece, woven circa 1955 has her signature in the corner and bears it like a badge of honor. Every single element of its composition is in the right place which results in a harmonious whole. The pattern might seem simple, but a closer look reveals the genius hidden inside. Amongst serrated edges we can see depictions of simplified small flowers resting on straight horizontal lines.
