It was hand-made in the province of Samarkand in the mid 20th century. Historically, this was a culturally rich region, on the Silk Road, the ancient trade route linking China to the Mediterranean countries. An all-over Asian style pattern covers the main filed, within intricate, multiple borders. The color palette consists of shades of pink, sand, and chocolate brown.
