This vintage runner is a perfect example of Swedish weaving art. Sporting a geometric pattern, the rug reflects on Scandinavian design philosophy, which could be described as “less is more”. Instead of a complex pattern, the weaver chose the simplicity of rectangles, fashioned in form of whirlpool. Gentle coloring, which accompanies the design, is mostly kept in shades of green and teal, which perfectly balance each other out. Handmade with the best quality materials, the runner was hand woven with great care by someone with ingenious artistic vision. Its simplicity mixed with traditional approach make the whole composition a true marvel, which could not have been created outside Sweden.
