Vintage Swedish Gul randig med tvist flatweave carpet by Barbro Nilsson BB6445 4'0" × 7'3"

The name of this high-quality flat weave – “Gul Randig Med Tvist”— may be translated as “yellow stripes with a twist” which quite accurately reflects the humble yet heartwarming and, in a sense, ingenious face of this Swedish rug. Its simplistic design encompasses stripes in different toned hues with the prevalence of the titular dusty yellow shade, accompanied by green, beige, slate gray and off-white. This uncomplicated pattern is finished with an elegant, thickly-woven, off-white lace at the shorter sides and a stripe of oyster color at the longer edges.
