This peaceful composition designed and performed by a famous Swedish artist – Ingegerd Silow calms the senses with its brilliant simplicity. This hand-made piece performed with the use of wool is made in flat-weaving technique. Palette of colors consists of soft beige, gray, and brown lightened with accents of white. The pattern is organized with straight lines of deep brown. The middle of the composition is established with a motif of a diamond composed of cone-like shapes. The opposite edges of this vintage flat-weave are also decorated with cones placed in the setting of brown and soft beige. Drawing from nature is a common inspiration in creating Scandinavian rugs.
