Vintage Moroccan Rug, Circa: 1960, Origin: Morocco, a late 20th century vintage carpet bag. This rug represents a classic Berber design and an exceptional realization of high-low weaving technique. Lovely and harmonious style of this unique area rug combines wool of excellent quality colored with creme and chocolate brown dyes. Its way of weaving is characteristic of tribes people who possess no formal artistic training. Two rows of huge diamonds placed along the antique rug create an emanation of the original, indigenous Berber tradition, but it also perfectly fits the modern, minimalistic style of contemporary interiors.
