A vintage, hand-knotted, high-low Swedish wool rug made by textile artist Sigvard Bernadotte with woven initials at a corner (SB). It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The all over design consists of a single geometric shape repeated in different colors and orientations encompassed by a simple border. The color pallete is cool, in shades of beige, blue-gray, jade-green, and navy-blue. The Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
