Marta Mass-Fjetterström, a paramount figure of the design world, is the author of this intriguing pile rug. Her skills and taste are visible through the perfect composition, which is the essence of Swedish traditional craftsmanship. The design is minimalistic and geometric – the main field consists of allover, repetitive rhombus and triangle pattern, whereas the boarders are divided by a dotted line into squares. There are two trims, at the top and the bottom of this Swedish pile carpet, which enclose it in its simple form. The color palette is maintained in delicate hues of beige, brown and sandy. The rug is a legendary example of Mass-Fjetterström’s artistry.
