Persian Runners

Culture has been developing over centuries. It has already started at the moment when a man started to think on his or her own and to create something. The first building is a culture which took place a very long time ago. Everything which has ever been made by a human being Has its own place in culture and too bad, that we will never be able to really find out his first steps.

Because culture needs things which could be seen, touched, owned and possessed. Persian runners which should have been thought out and then made are not an exception. Before it happened, an ordinary rug had been made which was not supposed to be needed by anyone only except its creator. With time, it changed, and the neighbours of the owner of the first rug wanted to have it as well. Since it was good to sit down on. It may be hanged in the window it will cover the Sun and give some shadow. The first rug had plenty of applications which for sure will turn out to be useful today as well and still are in the countries where the first one of them was made.

As everyone certainly knows, the Persians are famous for their rugs (today, the Iranians). The whole Iran is an one big poster which consists of the rugs that are impossible to be unnoticed. The small ones, the big ones, the wide and the narrow ones. And the popular Persian runners which adorn many places in the world today, as well as tribal runners and their design patterns.

The Persian runners are long rugs that everyone of us has probably once seen or even has been walking on it. It is often used in the long halls where it stretches from the entrance up to the exit. Often a custom one precisely to each centimetre. It ornaments and pours with colors which influence the atmosphere of a given place. Often used in the governmental building, different kinds of palaces, the places of culture. It fits there perfectly and, it is hard to imagine that this kind of rug does not exist.

But it has its place not only where one comes into in the suit. People whose pension today hits the account can also be found with a Persian runner. Previously, a rug of that was often used in the halls and porches.
