Antique Persian Tabriz Rug BB5166 5'6" × 8'9" $5,000
$5,000
This Persian Tabriz rug displays a visually compelling and inviting color contrast in its color schemes. The center medallion design of this oriental antique carpet is a staggered, overall design array of prominent, interconnecting and regal looking emblem markers. The medallion emblems are richly colored in shades and hues of rust orange, brown and beige. The overall medallion design almost resemble an overhead view of a labyrinth or maze, when contrasted against the open field. The field backdrop is colored a rich tone of verdant forest green. The quadrant corner brackets feature a symmetrical line and leaf design. The identical guard and outer borders are illustrated with blue and white palmette stamps. They buttress the beige colored main border. The main border is lined with autumn shades of light brown and orange brown angular leaf patterns.
