While I love antique carpets from many periods and frequently employ them in my work, fabulous antique carpets are not for every budget. I am seduced by the look and character of a magnificent carpet, whether old or new; I’m not an absolute stickler for provenance. Beautifully designed and contemporary carpets made by hand using traditional techniques, borrowed from the past yet speaking strongly of today, are certain to become coveted antiques of tomorrow.
